Busy, Busy. Thank the Lord.

No cup early today. My only plea is unscheduled other work yesterday and today that all went longer than expected. Today it was many hours on the the phone with a help desk in California trying to find the cause of the intermittent slowdown of our internet access. Time will tell if we have to have another go at it. I had in mind a Cup based on watching “The Roosevelts” last week, the series by Ken Burns, but it is not fully formed enough to see the light of day. Stay tuned.

So I’ll just share my gratitude at having so many meaningful and interesting things to do that I can’t always do them all. And the current news of the day has me also feeling grateful that I am not fleeing an army with nothing but the shirt on my back.

I’ll close with this fragment from the alternate General Thanksgiving.

“We thank you Lord for setting us at tasks which demand our best efforts and for leading us to accomplishments which satisfy and delight us.”

And I do give thanks daily for all that has been given me to do.
